As one of the original hop farming families in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, the Coleman family is proud to be a Yakima Chief Hops owner-grower. Rooted in centuries of farming, Yakima Chief firmly believes that quality hops begin in the field and we appreciate their collaborative approach to meeting the needs of the world’s brewers.
In addition to being Salmon-Safe, our Yakima Chief Hops varieties are farmed to the standards of their Green Chief Program.
Innovative hop cultivars are what really moves the needle at Indie Hops, and the Coleman family is proud to be growing along with them as they introduced Oregon born and bred Strata®, Meridian®, Lórien®, Luminosa® and Audacia® hops to the world.
